Body work and Chiropractor

Our Team

We're really lucky that we have a great team around us that can support our horses mobility. From great Vet, Farrier and trainer support, we've also found a fantastic Chiropractor, and body worker. These two areas of expertise have helped me identify issues as they arise and even in a preventative capacity.

Chiropractor & Saddle Fitter

Our saddle fitter and  Chiropractor are the same person. A Board Certified  equine chiropractor, he has decades of experience. He's also an owner of his own saddle brand that is tailored to wide/large breeds. We've had a difficult time getting Calliope a saddle she'll tolerate. We found on in the Duett line of dressage saddles. We have yet to ride in it but we've seen promising things from the ground.

Body Worker

Working hand-in-hand with the Chiropractor our body worker has done great thing with Mac. He had tension from being started early and being ridding Saddle seat with an improperly fitted saddle. In fact, the saddle didn't fit at all. He's transitioned nicely to a more general purpose saddle and tolerating it very well. With the help from our body worker, we've identified points of stress and tightness in his body. She's able to get very nice releases from him in his hind area. His pole is also a point of tension. We hope to continue the progress.
